Philip is having an extraordinary streak of luck at the tables in Las Vegas, When word gets out that he wins consistantly, every Sunday night at a low rent vegas casino, the leeches begin to gather around him. They include a sexy nightclub singer(Rebecca DeMornay), her lover (Billy Bob Thornton), an opportunist thief from out of town, as well as phillips own homocidal brother (Michael Madsen). Over it all, a gangster casino bass watches over them. Together they make a surreal group of hungry hustlers who want his money and all with a different scheme to get it.
