While researching, Katie becomes obsessed with the perverse life of a cannibal killer and delves deeper and deeper into his past, trying to discover what made him become what he is today. She is caught in a downward spiral into a deeply alienated lifestyle, culminating in the discovery of the video-tape made by the cannibal capturing the final moments of his victims life.
